He is not only a sparrow, he is Captain Sparrow. Our daughter was given a baby male (pushed out of a nest in a barn) and we all hand fed it. Released him when he was old enough to go and he wouldn’t have it. Flew right back into the house. Nicest bird we ever had. He lived about 7yrs with a good diet and family that loved him. “Do you want a worm?” Now there’s an endearment you don’t hear every day! Sparrows are wonderfully entertaining and this one came to the right woman at exactly the right time. ❤️ This bird doesn’t think he’s a dog, he just loves you. Awww when she called his name and he flew to her from the other room of the house…. it melts my ice cold heart!! and on a side note, ever since I was a little girl, I have hated seeing birds stuck in pet cages. Birds are meant to FLY if they want to. And I love this human and how she communicates and listens to the animals ….
